You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete to be in good shape. And you don’t need to spend hours at the gym or buy expensive exercise equipment either. There are simple things that you can do every day to make fitness a bigger part of your life. And most of these things take little time and are free.

Regular physical activity will make you live longer and will improve your overall health. How? For starters, regular exercise can greatly reduce your risk for developing chronic diseases like cancer and heart disease. It can also improve the symptoms of conditions you may already have. And, as an added bonus, when you make exercise part of your daily routine, you feel better about yourself and have more energy!
Try to spend 20-30 minutes every day doing something that gets your heart rate up. It will make a big difference in how you feel today…and tomorrow.
